Hey you… how are you? Doing well? I hope so x
Me?
I’m doing well. Really, truly well. I think the calendar flip of 2025 has a lot to do with that.
It’s funny, I’m not usually one for thinking that a new year brings with it a ‘new me’, but after a heavy 2024, I feel like I have entered 2025 differently. Not exactly as a new me, but as a me that is wiser in some ways, hardened in others, and far more hopeful too. For the first time ever, that stroke of midnight really felt like what it is… a new start, and the chance for something beautiful.
There are so many things to look forward to this year (some of which I will talk about in this email!). So many chances for connection. For growth. For fun. I for one cannot wait to see where this year will take me. I hope that you feel the same too.
So all that’s left is for me to say thank you for being on this journey so far with me… let’s look forward to what’s to come together!
Love,
Jess x
Book News?
You may have seen on my socials, but I have announced the most exciting book news this month…
Last year, Simon and Schuster signed my new commercial romance novel, The Life Experiment. Originally, the book was planned to be released in March 2026, but after a lot of hard work on my part and a lot of work and faith from my amazing publisher and agent, it will now be published July 30th 2025.
Yes, this year… how flippin’ exciting is that?!
I will share cover reveals and pre-order links ASAP and keep you posted on all event and launch plans. But for now, I am just so happy to share the news of this new, earlier publication date.

Any events coming up?
I am thrilled to be starting my Sunday night author interviews series again this year, and 2025 is going off with a bang!
My first interview will be with Kate Horan, the author of the wonderful debut ‘The Inheritance’. Hope you can join us at 8pm on February 4th!
What are you watching/reading/enjoying this month?
A random Netflix scroll helped me discover my new favourite TV show obsession… Parenthood. Following the 4 Braverman siblings and their parents, this family drama explores relationships, connection, growing up and love. I am addicted to it. I want to move into the gorgeous house of Camille and Zeek, please!
I spent the 6 weeks of my summer holidays travelling Australia and seeing friends. While I was gone, I read some amazing books:
The Ledge by Christian White
Just For The Summer by Abbey Jimenez
What books and TV shows have you been enjoying this year?
Looking forward to The Life Experiment in 2025!
So funny, I just finished Parenthood! I started it years ago on another streaming service and then it disappeared before i finished it and I was gutted! So excited it came to Netflix and I was finally able to watch it all. I was addicted too! That blonde lady who’s name I’m forgetting is the best damn crier I’ve ever seen 🤣🤣
